On Monday during Affiliate Summit East the popular “Ask the Experts” session takes place at 5:00 and is open to all pass holders. During this time period, Affiliate Summit has pulled together 15 individuals who will be available to answer your questions and lead open discussion in the speaker’s speciality. The handpicked experts will be covering a variety of topics and it is geared to affiliates, merchants and networks. During this session, large tables are set up and the audience sits right along side the “Experts” will lead the discussion at each table.
I have been selected to lead a discussion called “Affiliate Program Case Studies – Strategies and Practices” Monday at 5:00 in America’s Hall 2 during Ask the Experts. What makes a good affiliate program? Why do some programs flourish while others don’t? The topics that will be covered during this session are the things that merchants can do that attract and retain affiliates and the criteria that affiliates can use to evaluate a merchant program. By understanding more about what affiliates want and need, a merchant can increase their own revenue by having more producing affiliates. Affiliates can, in turn, see increased revenue by seeking out programs that truly value the affiliate channel.
As a merchant, if you have been trying to grow your program and take it to the next level stop by to ask questions and discuss what can take your affiliate program up to the next level. Learn about the tools affiliates want, the incentives that work and how you are evaluated.
If you are an affiliate, learn what criteria others use in deciding whether or not to join and promote a particular program. Stop by to talk about what you like to see, what you need to get you to promote a merchant.
In addition to my discussion table, there are about fourteen other tables and topics including WordPress, using API’s, merchant mistakes and content marketing. As with other sessions, look through the titles to get an idea of which will interest you. Signs on each table will help you identify the subject.
