Although Affiliate Summit East 2010 officially starts on Sunday August 15, there are a few things going on Saturday August 14. In addition to a couple of parties and some informal networking events there is another event that would be of interest to many.
The Audience Conference is being held on Saturday, August 14 at Caroline’s on Broadway and uses an unique approach that promises to be both entertaining and educational. The subject of the conference is how to engage your audience and keep them engaged. Much like a performer needs to engage their audience, online marketers need to engage their website visitor.
There is a great line up of presenters at Audience Conference and I consider myself lucky to be attending. It is produced by Affiliate Summit and 1938 Media and I believe this is the second time it is being held; it will be my first time attending. Immediately after the Audience Conference, I will head on over to the ABestWeb Reception being held at Cinema Brasserie 6-8 pm. You’ll need to grab a ticket for this one at http://abwase10.eventbrite.com/
From there, at 8 pm I will head on over to what has quickly become a fabulous and popular tradition, the Buy.At Summit party. This year it is called A Black and White Affair and all guests are requested to wear black and white. (This party is by invitation only.) The Buy.at events are always great and I look forward to attending.
If you are staying at the Hilton during the conference I am sure you will find at least a few more parties and gatherings. There are also a lot of great things to do nearby, so take advantage and ask at concierge for suggestions.
