Over the past several months we have heard testimony at hearings at legislative sessions regarding the revenue gains due to the new nexus law. The impact of the NY advertising tax or the NY Internet sales tax has been devastating for many NY affiliates. As we continue to work on solutions in New York, Rhode Island and now North Carolina and, while we work on pending legislation in other states, it would be helpful to have an idea of more concrete numbers to determine the impact of the tax on New York affiliates.
